Dr Talia Steed

Dr Talia is a Holistic Doctor & Spiritual Counsellor

With her medical training and spiritual foundation, Dr Talia integrates a fusion of science and spirituality into her practice.
She understands physical symptoms are linked to emotional, mental and spiritual factors.
Dr Talia sees the value and role of all modalities including western medical, hypnotherapy, naturopathic, acupuncture and other energy work. However, she believes that ultimately to heal we need to connect more deeply with our inner most self and uncover the hidden messages our body is trying to communicate with us.
Dr Talia sees herself as a guide to help her patients uncover what it is they need to shift in their lives to return to an optimal state of health and wellness.

Dr Talia’s consult fees are as follows:
New patients / Initial (1 hour) – $220

Dr Talia’s experience working and training in the fields of psychiatry and general practice have shown her that unless we address our mental health from a holistic perspective, things can become very chronic. She uses her spiritual foundation to guide patients to uncover the core root issues for their symptoms and achieve deeper healing. This draws on a combination of yogic philosophy, eastern meditation practices and years of undertaking her own personal spiritual path.

  • Generalised anxiety/ Social anxiety/ Panic

Dr Talia is very specialised in this area having lived the path herself and gaining a deep awareness of the intricacies of the thought patterns in the mind of an eating disorder sufferer.

She is aware of how much deeper than food or the physical body eating disorders go and can guide you on your journey to overcoming such a powerful illness. Dr Talia uses a unique approach in all her spiritual counselling, but even more so in this area has seen the importance of combining science and spirituality to achieve lasting change.
